We are now in the city of Hyderabad where the aroma of food walks through the air as one moves through the streets How can one come to Hyderabad and not taste the Hyderabadi dum biryani! Hyderabadi Biryani is the best authentic Biryani cooked on dum with aromatic basmati rice tender meat,fragrant spices and saffron. It is a best one pot dish and serves as a wholesome meal at any point of the day. so i have been served very tasty and popular Mirchi ka salan alongside my biriyani. Mirchi ka salan is made with fried bhavnagri chillies cooked in a flavourful masala made with ground peanuts,sesame seeds and powdered spices and tamarind pulp. Khubani ka meetha is a very classic Hyderabadi dessert its made of apricot and custard. Garnished with nuts this sweet makes a perfect dessert to have after Biryani! So i am gonna try this out now Its very tempting! People say that India runs on Chai! And in Hyderabad the chai culture is at another level! Introducing The Irani Chai which is the fuel to all Hyderabadis! This is a super duper tasty and stress relieving drink. The Osmania Biscuit,the famous evening nashta(snacks) at Nimrah cafe and Bakery, right next to the masjid. So I am trying this biscuits now its very famous This was served to be hot and literally melts inside your mouth. Its a must try Pasinde is one of the most classic Hyderabadi dishes. Try it with some roti or paratha it’s sure to tantalise your taste buds! This is Malai Tikka and this is Chicken Tandoori It smells amazing and I cant wait to try this Haleem is a popular Hyderabadi dish which had its origins from Arabia. Its usually made lamb mixed with wheat lentils or cereals,sometimes sweetened with jaggery,and cooked continuously for eight hours. The result is a rich paste that it tastes like warm mouthfuls of heaven. Double ka meetha is sort of a bread pudding as it becomes double its size and that’s why its called double ka meetha It is locally called as Shahi Tukda as well. So I am trying this out It is a very popular dessert and is extremely tasty! and it also tastes like Gulab Jamun Hyderabad is known for its various food options and we have just listed a few here.   6. For me biryani in Hyd is best served in Normal hotel very it's not fancy like a hi-fi restaurant decorated if u want to enjoy true biryani eat in normal restaurants
    In little fancy restaurant fried rice is better than biryani

  8. Hyderabad is Nawab's city. Hyderabad is full of different dishes. The most popular is dum biriyani. Its been 3 yrs that i reside in Hyderabad and i am love with the city just for food.
